Poker Rules - Baseball
Baseball is a variation of 7-card stud. There are two versions: regular baseball and nighttime baseball. In baseball, 9's and 3's are always wild. If a 4 is pulled, the player can 'buy' an extra card for an extra bet of your choosing. The best 5-card hand wins.
Regular baseball is dealt exactly like 7-card stud. Nighttime baseball is dealt out one up card at a time to players. Each player continues to be dealt a card until his hand is better than the player previous to him. A round of betting begins after every player receives their cards.
Strategy
With two wild cards and extra cards (I've seen someone draw 3 4's!), you need a very strong hand to win baseball. Typical minimum winning hands are straights and flushes. Full houses and four-of-a-kinds are not all that uncommon.
