Poker Rules - Chicago
Chicago is a variation of seven-card stud. The difference is that the pot can be split between two people.
There are two main types of Chicago: High Chicago and Low Chicago. In High Chicago, the highest spade 'in the hole' (downcard) gets to split the pot with the high hand. Low Chicago is same game only with the lowest spade splitting the pot.
Dealing Chicago:
The dealer starts by dealing each person 3 cards- 2 down, and 1 up. Players bet.
A fourth, fifth, and sixth card are dealt face up. Each is followed by a round of betting.
Finally, the seventh card is dealt face down, and the final round of betting ensues.
The pot is split between the player with the highest 5-card hand and the player with the highest spade in the hole. If a player has both the highest hand AND the highest spade, that person wins the entire pot.
